An ordinance was passed at the January 21st City Council Meeting raising electric rates 10% with the January 1st usage.
Ottawa Sanitation will pick up Wednesday trash and bulk pickup on Thursday, February 13th.
A vacancy has occurred on the Council for the City of Baldwin City, and the governing body is seeking applicants to fill the vacancy.
3rd Street is closed at High Street for asphalt repair, after the sewer line installation earlier this summer. Public Works expects to have the road reopened by approximately 2pm today
TRUCK ROUTE CLOSURE ALERT: High Street will be closed from 6th Street to 9th Street, and 8th Street will be closed from Grove Street to Indiana Street for Smoke on the Bricks.
A localized electric outage occurred this morning, August 8, near Highway 56 and Wesley Street.
All electric usage per kilowatt hour rate categories are increased by 5% for usage beginning July 1, 2024, and again 5% on October 1, 2024 per City Council Ordinance.
