Celebrating 150+1 Years of History

Thanks to Matt McClure of Baldwin City Recreation Commission for these stunning drone photos of the Saturday fireworks. It was a fantastic evening celebrating the 151st anniversary of the founding of Baldwin City, but that's not all folks!

Baker University Theatre and the Lumberyard Arts Center are producing “Lucy Sweet Sullivan and the Petticoat Council” Sept 24 & 25 at 7:00pm and Sept 26 at 2:00pm downtown in Sullivan Square.

Then October 16 & 17 the Maple Leaf Festival continues the celebration with their ”150 Plus 1 Years of Colorful History” parade theme.

Thank you to the entire community and the original Sesquicentennial Committee for celebrating this place so many of us love and call home.
