TRASH SERVICE UPDATE FROM GREEN ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES (FORMERLY OTTAWA SANITATION)
We will start delivering trash carts on Monday, north of the highway.
Each cart will have a decal on top telling their day of service, and day/week for bulky waste. Each house will also get a brochure in a plastic bag with instructions.
We are writing down serial numbers and matching with address/unit number. Each cart will also have an RFID number for computer read out.
If a customer is not on the list, we will tell them to call the city. City will need to make sure they are on the list for billing, and email us to add them to the list.
We will deliver second carts and ones added to the list second.
The recycling carts are being unloaded this morning (Monday) as soon as ice melts.
There will be several trucks and trailers delivering carts. We will be in high Visibility clothing. We will do the recycling carts once we finish trash carts.
