The City of Baldwin City is requesting proposals from qualified firms for Information Technology Support Services.

The City of Baldwin City is requesting proposals from qualified firms for Information Technology Support Services. The City does NOT currently have an IT department and is currently using an outside vendor to provide maintenance and support on an as needed basis. The purpose of the IT Support Services will be to provide 24x7x365 management of the existing IT infrastructure and technical support for the City of Baldwin City end-users.

Although fees and compensation will be a vital factor in the evaluation of proposals, the City is not required to choose the lowest bidder. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Evaluation and acceptance of a proposal will be based on the total package of services offered by the bidder. A City evaluation committee will review each proposal based on criteria including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Completeness of proposal; all information must be complete and legible.
  • Location of Contractor’s office that will be assigned primary responsibility for the engagement.
  • Experience and performance of comparable government agency engagements.
  • Quality of bidder’s personnel to be assigned to the engagement and the quality of the firm’s management support personnel to be available for technical consultation.
  • Cost of service.

The deadline for submission of bids is April 15th, 2022. Services may begin as early as May 16th, 2022.
