Police Department Closed to Walk-In Traffic

UPDATE: Effective January 31st, the front lobby of the Police Department will once again be open to the public for walk-in reports, VIN inspections, and fingerprinting services. More information here.

Effective Immediately and Until Further Notice

For public safety due to the current infection outbreak and due to staffing availability, the Baldwin City Police Department is closed to walk-in traffic. No vehicle inspections or fingerprinting services will be performed until further notice. Officers are still on patrol. We are also available by phone at 785-594-3850 from 8am-5pm Monday through Friday, and at 785-843-0250 for non-emergency calls after hours. If you should have an emergency, please call 911 and an officer will be dispatched for you.
