Open House May 23rd for US Highway 56 Reconstruction Project West of Baldwin

Thursday, May 23, from 4:30pm to 6:00pm the Kansas Department of Transportation will host an open house at the Baldwin City School District (USD 348) High School, 415 Eisenhower Road. This project is a reconstruction of US-56 near Baldwin City, from the US 56/US-59 interchange east 3.5 miles to 1600 Rd. Reconstruction efforts will include enhancements to improve safety and widening of the roadway to enhance line of sight distance and increase passing opportunities for drivers.
